Prof. Mohammed Yassin

Education

Prof. Mohammed Yassin is a Senior Financial Consultant at Virginia Institute of Finance and Management (VIFM). He holds PhD in Accounting and MA in Accounting and Finance from AABFS, and a BSc. from Yarmouk University in Jordan. Yassin is a Certified Microsoft Excel Expert, a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), Certified Data Intelligence Professional (CDIP), Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA), and holds a Certificate in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (CertIPSAS). These credentials reflect his broad expertise across accounting, finance, and data analytics. 

Experience

During his 25+ years of professional experience in MENA, Yassin held senior management level positions in academia and the corporate sector. Before joining VIFM, Yassin worked as Head of the accounting program in English, Quality Assurance Manager in the Faculty of Business, Al-Zaytoonah Private University of Jordan. Other position Yassin held were Deputy Manager of the Training, Consultancy, and Community Service Center – Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, Financial Management Consultant for establishment – Electronic Health Solutions, Financial Consultant – Menhaj Educational Technologies, Chief Accountant – Zara Investment “Holding” Co. 

Expertise

Yassin possesses 21+ years of specialized experience in the design and delivery of training programs. His training and consulting experience in Budgeting, Forecasting and Managerial Accounting, Financial Statements Analysis, Corporate Finance and Financial Accounting. Also, Yassin has extensive professional, training and consulting experience in the fields of Data Analysis and Microsoft Office Excel all levels.
